Abstract: This research objective is to study the industry's supply chain and value chain in the current situation. Analyze factors that affect competitiveness and competitive advantage. Design a new value chain and propose ways to increase the potential of the international apparel industry in the new normal era. Data collection used questionnaires and interviews with a sample of 19 people from five establishments that conduct apparel trade along the Thai-Myanmar border trade in the upper northern region directly. Data were analyzed and displayed with descriptions, pictures, and tables. Descriptive statistics are presented in the form of means, percentages, and frequencies. The researcher applied the value chain theory and Porter's diamond model and prioritized the main and negative sub-factors of the industry based on the analytical hierarchy method. The results of the research found that: 1) The industry's supply chain and value chain operate from the upstream part to the midstream to the downstream. Key stakeholders were identified and the physical circulation activities of apparel products were carefully monitored. 2) The analysis of factors affecting competitive advantage revealed that the influence factors that affect positive competitive advantage are infrastructure factors, Price and product quality size, Growth of the market and Inventory system. In addition, If consider the influence of negative sub-factors on each of the main factors that affect the competitive advantage of the industry found that The product image and acceptance factor is the most important, followed by Grouping of enterprise networks, Business strategy, Inventory system, Product features and Value changes in demand, Related industries, Human resource development, The pickiness of seasonal buyers, Business competition, Sources of capital, Costs of raw materials for production, Labor shortage, Technology and innovation and Human resources, respectively. 3) From empirical data, this study designs a new value chain. It proposes ways to enhance the industry's potential so that Thai entrepreneurs in the apparel trade value chain can adapt and respond to situations that arise appropriately according to the organization's status, both proactively and reactively. To create a competitive advantage and manage the apparel business in the new normal era with efficiency and sustainability.
