Abstract: This research investigates stakeholders' expectations and their level of preparedness for the launch of the Public Administration program at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University's Mae Hong Son Campus. The study employed qualitative research methodologies, collecting data from three university executives on the program's readiness, three government agency heads in Mueang District, Mae Hong Son Province about graduate expectations, and forty high school graduates in Mueang District for a focus group on program-related issues. Analytical induction from interviews and content analysis assessed the data. The findings indicate that (1) the campus is prepared in terms of organizational structure, systems, policy, resources, and facilities, with support personnel ready; however, academic personnel readiness is lacking. (2) Expectations for graduates include responsibility, versatility, communication skills, adaptability, passion for the profession, political neutrality, self-expression, public spirit, humility, technological adeptness, and especially proficiency in human resource management. (3) Program expectations entail organizing special teaching sessions, basic university adjustments before enrollment, and providing facilities and scholarships. Students are expected to learn about public policymaking, serve in government roles after graduation, potentially pursue further studies, or start a personal business. The decision to pursue further education is primarily influenced by family and friends, with the national context as an additional factor.
