Abstract: The objectives of this study were to investigate the technical efficiency of nursery swine production of VPF Group (1973) Co., Ltd., Chiang Mai Province and to analyze the technical efficiency of nursery swine production and the factors affecting the technical efficiency of nursery swine production. Data in the study were secondary data obtained from the results of data collection in the year 2016 - 2019 of 26 houses, 104 samples of swine houses. The data collection schedule in the study for 1 cycle of nursery swine production was during October - December of each study year for 4 years. From the study of the nursery swine production data during 2016 - 2019, some houses still had problems with nursery swine production efficiency. Results of a study to analyze technical efficiency of nursery swine production using The Malmquist Productivity Index analysis, divided into 2 parts: The results of Analysis Part 1: The results of the study on the operational efficiency of nursery swine production showed that nursery swine production during the year 2016 - 2019 the average technical efficiency of nursery swine production was 4 years. There were 17 fully technically efficient nursery production houses and there were 9 houses with low technical inefficiency. The results of the analysis of the efficiency values of each year of the production of 26 nursery swine houses in 2016 - 2019 showed that annual production efficiency had a constant index of change. In Part 2, the results of the study on the productivity change of the nursery swine production year 2016 - 2019, the result of the productivity change increased with an average of 1.559. This was due to the change in technological efficiency, the mean was 1.561, but the change in technical efficiency was averaged 0.999, reflecting that the efficiency of nursery swine production was improved, but lack of technical support in the nursery swine production. The results of the study to analyze the factors affecting the technical efficiency of nursery swine production using the Tobit Regression Model analysis revealed that the technical efficiency was affected by 4 main factors as follows: The coefficient of age of nursery swine, the mean weight of the nursery swine, the experience of the nursery staff and the feed rate of the nursery swine. The study found that to improve the production efficiency of nursery swine should be improved by adopting new techniques to assist in the production of swine. The age of the nursery swine should be increased to complete the size of the nursery swine before transferring to the fattening swine house, focusing on increasing the weight of the swine, starting to raise the nursery swine more because it will make the piglets. to adapts themselves better in the nursery house. By fostering training and education on swine production from the public and private sectors and putting a focus on food management, emphasis should be given on enhancing the expertise and experience of nursery swine staff. To enhance the swine feed rate, feeding should be tuned to the feed formula based on the size of the swine at each age.
