Abstract: Water is regarded as one of the primary sources of life. Thailand is developing various plans, policies and strategies to manage and supply water to meet the demands of the denizens. Lamphun Province located in Northern Part of Thailand, which lack to feed the demand of water supply throughout the year need to have reservoir established to meet the demand of dry season by storing water during the raining season. Huai Pah Kuai reservoir which is located Takien Pom subdistrict, Thung Hua Chang district, Lamphun province is the area of study in this project to organize water resource for sustainable development. As a result of study. Firstly, shows that the trend of technology and innovation for sustainable development is the same information. Furthermore, we might use new technology and technology from other countries to manage the water resource. The result of study shows that, technology to manage the reservoir from Israel was found to be most useful. Secondly, the conclusion is consistent with the survey result conducted with the interviewees working in this field of work. Thus, to take into account of development of new technologies and working under digital platform, the Royal Irrigation Department will make a long- term preparation strategy for integration and sustainable management in the future. So, skilled manpower can be developed transferring proper skill and knowledge to the people in the working area. Last, stakeholder participation in the study area found that people have been involved with the project from the beginning to the present. They have good satisfaction in terms of equality, justice and water management of irrigation officials and encourage communities to participate in water management and maintenance within the reservoir. The government also listen to and accept the community’s opinion. Moreover, they organize a public forum to share the opinion with stakeholder. This study supports the smart irrigation system for sustainable water management.
