Abstract: | © 2019 IEEE. This paper presents a review and comparison of monetisation models in a free-to-play gaming. The monetisation is the essential element in a game production process because it helps clarify the design that should be compatible with the monetisation models and revenue generation methods of the game. The investigation is conducted by utilising a set of online questionaires. The results show that the in-game Ads are not bothering the majority of players and players does not pay to remove them. Fashion and uniqueness of player's avatar is more important than the in-game items that would help player in a game. |
