Abstract: This research aimed to study job embeddedness among employees of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) Mae Moh Mine in Lampang Province, using the framework proposed by Allen and Meyer. Identified six embeddedness factors in organizational and community work, including 1) fit-organization, 2) fit-community, 3) link-organization, 4) link-community, 5) sacrifice-organization and 6) sacrifice-community. The sample group comprised 294 EGAT Mae Moh Mine employees affiliated with the Deputy Director of Mae Moh Mine Division. The data was collected through a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics for frequency, percentage and mean. According to the study, The EGAT Mae Moh Mine workforce predominantly consisted of males aged 31 to 35, primarily employed in the production division. On average, employees had 6 to 10 years of work experience and held undergraduate degrees. Most were single, residing in Lampang Province, with average monthly incomes ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 baht, excluding overtime pay. Satisfaction with fundamental welfare was highest in the following categories, ranked from highest to lowest: health, recreation, security, and economic stability. However, education satisfaction was high. Regarding the six job embeddedness factors, the respondents strongly agreed with the following factors, ranked from highest to lowest: fit-community, sacrifice-organization, fit-organization, link-organization, sacrifice-community and link-community. The respondents particularly agreed most with the sense of security derived from being part of the organization.
