Abstract: This research explores the interaction of 'skaters' and 'skateboarders' with 'modern urban space', which is driven by the logic of 'Capitalism' through Henri Lefebvre's theory of social space construction and Michel de Certeau's everyday practices. This research explores ‘skate spots’ in the Bangkok city as a social space in which the process of assembling arises from the interaction between three groups of actors: capital (Capital), state (State) and skateboarders (Skateboarders). Skateboarding often brings conflict with the order of urban society. It was perceived as antithetical to the modern urban order. and lead to confrontations and negotiations between skaters and representatives of capital and the state in various areas of the modern urban space. In the eyes of a skater The city is like a giant skating rink. This often leads to a way of using the city that is different from that of ordinary people and those in power who try to create order. And how skating can be seen as damaging or disruptive to the city. Rather, it is a form of questioning the urban space and power that flows within the modern urban space.Skaters should therefore be recognized as citizens. that even though they look at the city with eyes and perspectives that are different from the modern urban discourse of modern city dwellers But those eyes In a sense, it leads to questioning the existing order of modern cities. Revealing the nature of cities is different from common sense urban discourse. A skateboarder's skateboarding is a unique voice in the midst of common sense modernity. This voice is one that confirms the value and existence of diversity in modern urban society.
