Abstract: This research purpose uses plastic waste from the Integrated Biomass Waste Management Center Chiang Mai University as a composite material for cold asphalt to improve the properties of cold mix asphalt. The objective of this research was to study the quantitative proportions of plastic and asphalt in the design and manufacture of cold asphalt. By producing 2 conditions of cold asphalt: cold asphalt with 0% plasticization at 2.5%, 3.5%, and 5% per aggregate weight and mixing the volume of Asphalt binder at 4%, 7%, and 10% per aggregate weight. This research of cold asphalt using ASTM D4215 Standard Specification for Cold-Mixed. These were conducted by testing 12 cold mix asphalts examples as follows ASTM D3625 standard. The results show that the quantitative proportions of plastic and asphalt in the design and manufacture of cold asphalt by using plasticization at 3.5% and asphalt binder at 4%. Percent coating of cold mix asphalt with 3.5% plasticization is 95%. And the cost of producing cold mix asphalt by using asphalt binder at 4% is lower than another using binder at 7% and 10%.
