Abstract: The study “Communication for Cultural Inheritance of Lanna Amulets : A Case Study of Ma Sep Nang Talisman” aimed to study cultural communication to inherit the culture of Lanna amulets by using concepts, theories about amulets and Lanna amulets, concept of Cultural Production and Reproduction and semiotic concepts including the concept of semantic consumption. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative research methodology by using in-depth interview including a study using the analysis of documents related to Ma Sep Nang talisman. The results of the research showed that the Ma Sep Nang talisman was influenced by Burmese and Tai Yai, and has been modified to become Lanna Yant Cloth. For production of Ma Sep Nang talisman (Ma Sep Nang talisman in the traditional era), the overall meaning of Ma Sep Nang talisman in the traditional era. It represented love, charm, mercy, great popularity and money. For reproduction of Ma Sep Nang talisman (new era Ma Sep Nang talisman), it was found that the existence of the reproduced culture could be divided into three characteristics. The existence, reproductive existence and a forward existence. The overall meaning of Ma Sep Nang talisman through reproduction process as same as the traditional Ma Sep Nang talisman. When it was reproduced, Ma Sep Nang talisman had some characteristics that remained and caused changes. The reason of change was that had had been added objectives to meet the needs of the creators. As a result, Ma Sep Nang talisman had additional duties. The reason of change was that it was born out of the will of believing creators. They looked at the meaning of Ma Sep Nang talisman differently. For consumption of Ma Sep Nang talisman when the consumers had consumed Ma Sep Nang talisman, the use of the consumers depended on the purpose of the owners. The use of Ma Sep Nang talisman was popular for charm, trading, gambling, or just carrying it with you for peace of mind. At the same time, consumers would consume Ma Sep Nang talisman to meet their own needs. In other aspects that were not related to the effect of the use of Ma Sep Nang talisman. For the dissemination of Ma Sep Nang talisman style was divided into three characteristics. The dissemination of the author, the sellers and collectors.
