Abstract: This study aims to investigate the application of hierarchical analysis processes for selecting Parcel Delivery Service Providers in Chiang Mai Province. It utilizes a hierarchical analytic decision-making process (AHP) by collecting data from operators or decision makers who choose package carriers. The study compares the priorities of package carriers, main criteria, and sub-criteria using descriptive statistical tools to determine the best option for selecting a package carrier in Chiang Mai. The data analysis is performed using Microsoft Excel. The development of a hierarchical analytical model begins by identifying the selection criteria through the Marketing Mix tool, which includes product, price, and distribution channel. Under each main criterion, there are three sub-criteria, resulting in a total of 21 sub-criteria. These sub-criteria are derived from relevant reviews and used to create the hierarchical analysis model. Microsoft Excel is employed for data collection and calculation. The study identified the top three factors influencing the decision to choose a package delivery service provider in Chiang Mai, namely, distribution channel with the highest weight value of 1.03, followed by process with a weight score of 1.02, and personnel and price tied for third place with a weight score of 1.00.
