Abstract: The objectives of this study were 1) to develop of local identity integrated learning unit to promote creative thinking ability and sustainable coexistence with nature and science competency for grade 4 students, 2) to study the creative thinking ability of grade 4 students after learning local identity integrated learning unit, and 3) to study the sustainable coexistence with nature and science competency for grade 4 students after learning local identity integrated learning unit. The samples used in the study consisted of 5 experts and 27 grade 4/1 students from Ban Kong Lom School, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai Province. They were chosen by purposive sampling. The instruments used in the study were a quality assessment form for local identity integrated learning unit, a creativity assessment form, and a competency assessment form for coexisting with nature and sustainable science. Data was analyzed using percentages, arithmetic means, and standard deviations. The results revealed the following: 1) Local identity integrated learning unit to promote creative thinking ability and sustainable coexistence with nature and science competency for grade 4 students consisted of the following components: 1) the name of the learning unit, 2) the structure of the learning unit, 3) learning activities, 4) learning measurement and evaluation, and 5) learning management plans. Overall, the quality of learning unit was at the highest level. (mean = 4.54, standard deviation = 0.66) 2) Creative thinking ability of students after studying with local identity integrated learning unit was at an acceptable level, with a mean of 11.56 and a standard deviation of 1.64. This represents 72.22 percent, which meets the criterion set of 70 percent. 3) Sustainable coexistence with nature and science competency of students after studying with local identity integrated learning unit was above expectation, with a mean of 17.27 and a standard deviation of 1.95. This accounts for 86.47 percent, which exceeds the 70 percent criteria set.
