Abstract: The objectives of this research were to investigate the results of innovative teaching development with the incorporation of SQ5R and Google Classroom to promote Thai reading comprehension skills of Mathayom Suksa 1 students, to examine the students’ Thai reading comprehension skills before and after the implementation of SQ5R and Google Classroom, and to explore the satisfaction of the students with the implementation of SQ5R and Google Classroom. The cluster sampling method was applied to select 33 Mathayom Suksa 1 students, Class 1/6, at Varee Chiang Mai School in Chiang Mai province. The research instruments were composed of five instructional management plans, a Thai reading comprehension test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The data were statistically analyzed for mean and standard deviation. The research results revealed that the efficiency of the instructional management plans was 80.10/85.05, which was higher than the predetermined criterion. The Thai reading comprehension skills of the students after the implementation of SQ5R and Google Classroom were significantly higher at the 0.05 level. The satisfaction of the students with the implementation of SQ5R and Google Classroom was at the highest level.
