Abstract: | Across data protection and cybersecurity laws, continue to have a substantive impact on healthcare data sharing (interoperability) rights between hospitals. Patients must give a medical history every single time before getting a cure such as congenital disease or allergic conditions. However, this information could be lost in time because of no record and not always active when needed. A healthcare provider can have your healthcare record, may share relevant information with family members or friends involved in your healthcare in certain circumstances without consent from the owners. What if patients can keep personal health records by themselves and be always accessible when needed. Even sharing a medical history requires permission from the owner to access. And all of the records are reliable data because the doctor or nurse is who records them. Blockchain gives patients access and control of their personal health records and its ability to store, create privacy and security for healthcare entities and patients alike. This review will look at access and control of their personal health records. Included the need for access to health information quickly and efficiently from anywhere made blockchain the perfect answer to security breaches. In addition, the advent of personal health records gives patients access and control of their records with an autonomy that had heretofore never been experienced. The result shown that 60% of 10 patients can access their medical history within 5 minutes, and 50% can understand what the requester wants the see and approve in each data. 60% of doctors can access patient’s medical history within 5 minutes. |
