Abstract: | This study aimed to analyze and compare well-being indices between Bangkok and Chiang Mai populations. The relationship between personal characteristics and well-being indices for each aspect among the Bangkok and Chiang Mai population. By studying the well-being at the individual level of the population living in Bangkok. Moreover, Chiang Mai Used a sample of 800 people and a descriptive analysis method using statistics including frequency, percentage and chi-square test. The study found striking similarities in personal characteristics between the two groups. Most of the samples were female and female. They have a bachelor's degree and work in the private sector. However, the factors affecting their well-being differ significantly in the two cities. While education, occupation, family and transportation had a higher impact in both cities, factors such as health, housing, social connections, and economic status had a higher impact in Chiang Mai than in Bangkok. Hypothesis testing revealed significant differences in well-being according to education level, occupation, and monthly income. Housing type and the number of children in both cities. However, other factors, such as the number of years of residence and the amount of debt, significantly impacted Chiang Mai alone. The study also found no difference in well-being between the sexes. This indicates a step towards gender equality in these area. Therefore, a development approach should support economic growth and development. The economic aspect affects well-being at a high level. Therefore, there should be support for economic growth. attract investment and create employment opportunities These can increase efficiency. By promoting adaptation and supporting various small industries and supporting business tourism. create jobs for local people and increasing income equality to improve the well-being of individuals. Including the vocational skills development program Small business support and reducing income inequality. including improving the health infrastructure A high recognition trend in health requires guaranteed access to quality health services. Investment in public health facilities public health personnel training and increasing health education in order to maintain and improve well-being in this area. Sustainable transport and communication should also be promoted. Because the level of well-being in transportation and communication is high. should develop a better public transport system Promote sustainable modes of transport and improve communication networks in the area. |
