The data obtained were analyzed for mean, standard deviation, percentage and dependent t-test. The findings of the research were as follows: 1. The students who are taught with story map have more English reading ability after using story map (x̄ = 24.66, S D = 2.91) than they did before 20.25, S D = 3.89) with the statistical significant level of .01. As a result, the students’ English reading ability increases approximately 4.45 points (14.83 %). 2. The students who are taught with story map have more vocabulary knowledge after using story may ( x̄ = 23.89, S D = 3.04) than they did before x̄ =15.14, S D = 4.03) with the statistical significant level of .01. As a result, the students’ vocabulary knowledge increases approximately 8.75 points (29.17 %). 3.
