Abstract: The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the effect of foliar application of Calcium (Ca) and evaluate the difference storage conditions on yield component, yield, accumulated calcium in the seeds hybrid corn CV. P3582. The experiment was conducted at Ban Plai Na, Thung Khwao sub District, Muang Pan District, Lampang Province on December, 2018 randomized complete block design with three replications was used. There were four levels of Calcium oxide 31% at 0 (control), 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 cc/litre was applied. The results showed that the concentration level had no effect on yield component, ear yield and seed yield per area. However, Ca applied at 1.0 cc/l have the highest yield of1,382.3 kg/rai. and the calcium accumulation in the seeds was not different, with an average of 0.75 g per 100 g dry weight. After seeds storage the seed were sampled and determined for the qualities. 4x2x4 Factorial in a completely randomized design with three replications was used. Four storage period at 0, 2, 4 and 6 months by 2 storage condition at room temperature and at 15 °C, and byseed obtainedfrom 4 levels of Ca applied were assigned as the treatments. The results showed that storage conditions and Ca applied level had no effected on germination but the interaction between stored periods and Ca applied level had significantly affected on seed germination (P<0.05). The average of seed germination before storage were 97.3 percent. After storing for 2 months the germination was increased and not changing until after storing for 6 months seeds applied with 1.0 cc/l can retained the germination and had the highest average in germination of 98.7 percent. Moreover all factors except Ca applied level were affected on germination which their vigor have been tested by accelerated aging method. Storage period, storage conditions, Ca applied levels and the interaction had significantly effected on seed vigor. Before storage, the seed had an average germination of 91.1 percent. Vigor of seed began to decrease after storing for 4 months at room temperature, seeds applied with 1.0 cc/l had 65.3 percent of germination which was higher than the other levels.Seeds applied with 2.0 cc/l showed the highest decrease in germination of 57.7 percent. Seed stored at 15°C and applied with Ca 1.0 cc/l retained the highest in seed vigor of 81.7 percent as compared to the seeds applied with Ca 1.5 and 2.0 cc/l which had the seed vigor decreased from high to medium and had the germination of 66.7 - 69.0 percent respectively. After 6 months it was found that seed applied with Ca 1.0 cc/l had the highest germination of 48.0 percent as compared to the seeds applied with Ca 1.5 and 2.0 cc/l which had the germination of 40.0 and 30.0 percent, respectively.
