Abstract: This independent study aimed to study nutrition care behaviors of early childhood parents at Ban Huayyasai School, Chiang Rai Province. The target group used in this study were parents from 20 families, who were guardians of 20 kindergarten 3 students, who were studying at Ban Huayyasai School, Pa Daed Sub district, Mae Suai District, Chiang Rai Province during the academic year of 2019. The instrument used in this study were structured-interview and unstructured-interview. Data was analyzed by content summary and content analysis. The results were as followed: Nutrition care behaviors of early childhood parents were described that: 1. Nutrition care behaviors of early childhood parents found the behaviors that relevant to nutrition principles were most parents were good role models in term of good intaking, having the children eat food that relevant to nutrition sense, having the children eat different kind of foods rather than everyday food, and arrange atmosphere that suitable for eating. On the other hand, the behaviors that irrelevant to nutrition principles were most parents did not give opportunities to children to help preparing food, did not preparing places for cooking and all cleaned, safe cooking and eating tools. 2. Behaviors of early childhood parent in preparing for the children found the behaviors that relevant to nutrition principles most parents prepared five nutrition groups for the children, prepared all three meals for the children, prepared variety of foods for children to select food by themselves, prepared food that suitable for children taste. The behaviors that irrelevant to nutrition principles were most parents often prepared junk food, soda, and sweet juice as snack for children
