Abstract: The objective of this research is to 1) study the pattern of rubber tapping labor management of farmers in rubber plantation in Doi Luang District. Chiang Rai Province 2) Analyze the sustainability of the rubber tapping labor management model in rubber plantation. In Doi Luang district Chiang Rai By using a semi-structured interview with closed-ended and open-ended. Use a small group discussion. Interviews and Descriptive Statistics To analyze fundamental data Rubber tapping labor management model information And sustainability in rubber plantation Interpretation criteria of Likert Scale were used together with reference statistic T-Test (Independent- Samples T-Test) in data analysis to compare the sustainability differences of two rubber tapping labor management models. Labor management form for tapping rubber without hiring And labor management model, rubber tapping with hiring workers. The study found that Farmers who own rubber plantations have a labor management model for tapping rubber. The most entirely self-administered Followed by a model where farmers all employ and share the benefits. A pattern that farmers operate in their own areas and employ other areas. And the model of labor management for rubber tapping that is partially self-employed and hiring additional labor when harvesting It was 77.6%, 16.8, 3.7 and 1.9% respectively. Farmers who own rubber growers classified by management model of rubber tapping with hired labor and non-hired form found that farmers with rubber tapping labor management both. The two models had the highest levels of average physical, economic and social sustainability. The difference in the sustainability of rubber plantation among farmers with unemployed rubber tapping labor and the employed rubber tapping labor management model was found to be no different in physical, economic and Society with statistical significance at level 0.05.
