Abstract: | This paper presents two simplified simulation methods for measuring the hysteresis loop of magnetic materials using MATLAB/Simulink simulations. The first approach directly measures the magnetic flux density and magnetic field strength via the flux and MMF (magnetomotive force) sensor block parameters. The second is the indirect approach using a simple RC integrator circuit to measure the capacitor voltage to determine the magnetic flux density and calculate the magnetic field strength. Furthermore, understanding the phenomenon of the hysteresis loop, using simulations to estimate measurement results in practice. |
