Abstract

The objection of this thesis is to improve earring inspection efficiency for the Quality control department before sending finished goods to Packing and Import-export department of Pandora Production Co., LTD. (Lumphun Branch) by using gauge R&R method. To decrease of earring supporter fail, in section standard and related figure were constructed. Our research started form studying inspection method of quality control staff and analyse by fish bone diagram . four possible root cause are as follow, analysing failure root cause. 1) There is no efficiency measurement of FQC’s staff we introduced gage R&R measuring staff efficiency, 2) Some earring component don’t meet prototype design, suppliers evaluation was introduced cooperated with company’s engineer assistant, 3) there on standard equipment of quality control checking process supporting device in checking process was also introduced and applied, 4) there is no standard of earring assemble procedure, the standard document were issued . after introducing all proposed suggestions investigate from 10,098 earring set, we found that all operators could inspect with 100% correction. The suppliers could decease the defect from 2.84% to 0.07%. To investigate for 8 months, the defected earring inspection hasn’t been reported form packing and exporting department.
