Abstract: The purposes of this study were to compare students’ English reading ability and learning attitude before and after they were taught through QAR strategy. The target group was 32 Mathayom Suksa 5 students who took the English course (E 32102) in the second semester of the academic year 2013 at ThakhumNgren Wittayakarn School, Mae Tha District, Lamphun Province. The experimental instruments consisted of 10 QAR lesson plans. The data collecting instruments consisted of an English reading ability test and a learning attitude test. The data were analyzed for mean, standard deviation, and percentage. The findings of this research were as follows : 1. After the students were taught through QAR strategy, their English reading ability was higher than that shown prior to the experiment. 2. After the students were taught through QAR strategy, their learning attitude was as equal as shown prior to the experiment.
