Abstract

The purpose of this independent study is to develop an application to be able to search for the best route to meet with interns. The system has been implemented as a Web application platform that allows users to search for the route leading to specific place. The system is using Google Map API to find the path. It provides display of public transportation and taxis modes. The researcher focuses on Bangkok as a main area. Bangkok is the capital of Thailand which provides both taxi services and public transportation services to facilitate travelling from one place to another. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTS) are two popular types of public transportation. Both public transportation and taxi service make it easier and more comfortable to go around the city. Moreover, Google Map API is able to help people decide their journey. The applications can also be applied by determining a meeting to find the route point.
