Abstract

การพิมพ์ปากเป็นหนึ่งในขั้นตอนสำคัญของการสร้างขึ้นงานโดยอ้อม เช่นการครอบฟันและฟันเทียมติดแน่น เนื่องจากรอยพิมพ์ที่ดีสมบูรณ์เท่านั้นจึงสามารถใช้สร้างชิ้นงานที่ดีได้ อย่างไรก็ตามการพิมพ์ปากเป็นขั้นตอนที่อ่อนไหว เกิดความเสียหายไต้ง่ายเนื่องจากต้องพิมพ์ในช่องปากที่มีความชื้นสูงโดยใช้วัสดุพิมพ์ที่ก่อตัวเร็ว ดังนั้นทันตแพทย์จึงต้องคำนึงถึงปัจจัยหลายประการที่ส่งผลต่อคุณภาพของรอยพิมพ์ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จหรือล้มเหลวของการรักษา

Impression techniques is an important step for fabrication of indirect restorations such as crowns and fixed partial dentures. Only proper impressions can lead to proper restorations. Unfortunately taking impressions are very sentitive techniques. They take place in moised oral cavity using rapid setting time impression materials. So the dentists have to concern several factors effect quality of the impression which influence the success or failure of the treatment.
