กลุ่มอาการแสบร้อนช่องปาก: รายงานผู้ป่วย 1 ราย และทบทวนวรรณกรรม

Abstract

กลุ่มอาการแสบร้อนช่องปาก เป็นอาการแสบร้อนบริเวณช่องปาก โดยที่มักจะไม่ตรวจพบความผิดปกติใดๆ ของเยื่อเมือกช่องปาก บทความนี้รายงานผู้ป่วยหญิงไทย อายุ 54 ปีมาพบทันตแพทย์ด้วยอาการแสบร้อนบริเวณลิ้น และเพดาน จากการตรวจในช่องปากพบเยื่อเมือกช่องปากมีลักษณะปกติ ผู้ป่วยไม่มีโรคทางระบบใดๆ และจากผลการตรวจทางห้องปฏิบัติการไม่พบความผิดปกติใดๆ ผู้ป่วยได้รับการรักษาด้วย อะมิทริปไทลีน 25 มิลลิกรัมต่อวัน จากการติดตามผลผู้ป่วยตอบสนองต่อการรักษาดีมาก อาการแสบร้อนลดลง และหายเป็นปกติหลังจากได้รับการรักษา 2 เดือน

Burning mouth syndrome is characterized by burning sensations of the oral cavity usually in the absence of mucosal abnormality. This article presents a case of a 54-year-old female patient with a burning sensation in the tongue and palate. Clinical and laboratory evaluations revealed the absence of any clinical and laboratory abnormalities. The patient denied systemic diseases. She was treated with amitriptyline (25mg/day), obtaining a complete remission of symptoms after 2 months of treatment.
