Abstract: Finite-time stability involves the boundedness of the solution on the finite time interval. Finite-time stability problem has been developed in the literature using Lyapunov function method. In this paper, we propose some new results on finite-time stability for a class of nonlinear systems with time-varying delays and exogenous disturbances. Using new bound integral estimation, we construct a set of Lyapunov-like functionals to derive novel delay-dependent criteria for robust finite-time stability of the system. The conditions are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which can be determined by utilizing MATLABs LMI Control Toolbox. A numerical example is given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed result.
