Abstract: The purpose of this project is to design and produce the temperature controller of toluene tank used in laminate coating process, reduce solvent of glue and toluene loss for reducing raw material cost. The machine was transformed water cooler by decreasing temperature of solvent of glue and toluene that temperature can control from 17-23 °C by controlling thermostat. Principle of the machine for reducing evaporation of solvent of glue and toluene is evacuation of heat from the solvent which it make the kinetic energy cause of evaporation down. For testing the machine, the machine is tested in real situation with laminate process by using the rate of paper's area and solvent to compare between turn-off time and turn-on time. As a result, glue and toluene are mixed in 3:2 when compare using of solvent between turn-off time and turn-on time, the volume of using solvent have reduced at turn-on time. Furthermore, economical evaluations show that the machine can reduce using of solvent about 18% or about 6.96 liter per day that is 556.8 baht per day for the cost of producing this machine is about 8,000 baht.
