Abstract: | This independent study aimed at promoting self-esteem of children with learning disability by using Trotzer’s technique. The sample of this study was a case of male student, Prathom 5, Ban Pang Sa School, Chiang Rai Province. Tools used in the study were 10 group activity plans according to Trotzer’s technique, behavior record form, and self-esteem inventory school form divided into four domains: self, society and friend, family, and education. The case study was evaluated by using self-esteem inventory school from before and after participating on group activities. Then, data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The results were concluded as follows: 1. Trotzer’s group activity plans for improving self-esteem had 0.95 total index of congruence (IOC) between activity plan and content. Therefore, Trotzer’s group activity plans were of quality and reliable. 2. Results showed that the case had higher self-esteem after participating 10 Trotzer’s group activities. |
