Abstract: Industrial plants are a major source of air pollution that affects public health and the environment. This research studied the distribution of air pollutants from factory groups type 2, 8 and 88 that use biomass fuels (wood and bagasse) and fuel oil in Mueang Lamphun District using the AERMOD model at different fuel consumption rates, along with average general stack measurement data. From the assessment of the distribution of air pollutants, including TSP, PM10, PM2.5, NO2, SO2 and CO in 2023 and the period of the smog episode (PM2.5) of 2023, it was found that the concentration obtained from the assessment compared to the air quality standard in Thailand did not exceed the standard in both the location of the highest concentration and the location of those affected by air pollution, that the impact was very small. The distribution pattern of air pollution occurs in all directions, with the majority of air pollution distribution occurring in the northeast direction. In addition, the application of air pollution treatment systems to control air pollutants can reduce the concentration of pollutants. Climate characteristics such as wind direction and wind speed are another factor that affects the distribution and concentration of air pollutants.
