Abstract: | The Fang Basin petroleum production area is Thailand's first crude oil source, located in Mae Kha Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. The Northern Petroleum Development Center conducts exploration and production by the Department of Military Energy to support increased production in the Mae Sun field. This study has applied the hierarchical analysis process to create a model for selecting the location of water separation units in petroleum production. Therefore, this research study aims to create a model for selecting the location of water separation units in petroleum production. Mae Sun production area, Fang Basin, Chiang Mai Province, is used to evaluate and create models for selecting locations for water separation units in petroleum production by studying and collecting information and interview questionnaires obtained from petroleum experts. There is a theory of the Analytic Hierarchy Process, which evaluates factors and factor importance scores to order the factors. The study results found that Important factors in the model for choosing the location of water separation units in petroleum production include four main factors and 15 secondary factors, with experts giving the first weight to the production data factor of 65.55 percent. For the second place, the area selection factor was 12.45 percent; the third place was the value for money factor, 11.00 percent, and the transportation factor was 11.00 percent, respectively. All factors were processed using a hierarchical analysis process to create a model—simulation for choosing the location of a water separation unit in petroleum production. The results of this study serve as a guideline for considering alternatives in creating models for selecting locations for water separation units in further petroleum production. |
