Abstract

This research aims to study the use of quality improvement tools, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S Activities, Standardize Work, Visual Control, Waste Elimination, and Kaizen , and their effects on productivity components and quality of work life. The study emphasizes human resources, the core of the organization. Data were collected using a questionnaire through convenience sampling from 200 of operational and supervisory employees in the production section of four factory branches:Kamphaeng Phet, Saraburi, Khon Kaen and Nava Nakhon of Thai Containers Group Company Limited. Descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were used for data analysis, along with inferential statistics, including Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis, to determine the relationships between variables. The results indicate that the quality improvement tools significantly impact the productivity components of Thai Containers Group Company Limited. These tools include Standardize Work, Visual Control, Waste Elimination, and Kaizen, which collectively predict the productivity with a statistical significance level of 0.01 and be predictable of 72.60%. Additionally, the quality improvement tools affecting the quality of work life of employees include Visual Control, Waste Elimination, and kaizen, which collectively predict the quality of work life with a statistical significance level of 0.01 and be predictable of 54.80%.
