The research results found that the development and process of organizing education by Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan and Wat Suan Dok, both royal monasteries, began organizing education in temples nearly a hundred years ago. Educational administration is in general unified because all policies are received directly from the Ministry of Education. The goals and direction of work are similar. Wat Suan Dok Phra Aram Luang has a total of 3 institutes. Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan has 4 institutes. The strong point is that education is organized in the same direction. Education is organized so that students can stay regularly within the same temple and be able to be supervised. The weak point is that students are occupied with modern technology and lack sufficient interest in learning, making teaching and learning inconsistent and weakened. Comparative analysis of the role and impact of educational arrangements at Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan and Wat Suan Dok Phra Aram Luang on Thai society is that both educational institutions of the two temples are similar in ideology and educational purposes: they strive to make good and smart citizens of the society and nation. Several weaknesses similar due to the power of modern technology and interest in secular life causing weaker learning habits. Educational management at Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan and Wat Suan Dok The royal monasteries are different in 2 points: 1) The curriculum used is different. Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan has a Dhamma-Pali teaching department. Suan Dok Temple The Royal Monastery focuses on the Pali language and 2) organizational management structure. Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan's administration is unclear, causing teachers to change frequently. A solution may be needed if the problem continues in the future. |
