Abstract: | This independent study aimed to Factors Affecting Thai tourists towards choosing hotel and resorts in Chum Saeng District. Samples were specified to 400 Thai tourists. Questionnaires were used as the tool to gather data. Data obtained were, then, analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation The study found that the majority of respondents were female. Age between 41-50 years old, marital status Have a degree in the bachelor's degree Company worker Average monthly income is 20,001 - 30,000 and domiciled in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. Behavior of the respondents, most of the respondents choose a hotel room with a food shop and selling drinks. Most of the activities that do are taking photos, tasting food and paying homage to monks. And the people who travel with most respondents are husbands, wives, children, lovers. The duration of stay is 1-2 days and the period of travel is on Saturdays and Sundays. Recognize advertising from online media such as Facebook, the website. Most accommodation information is Facebook. The hotel has been selected to book accommodation using the method of booking accommodation via Facebook. Most payments are made by money transfer. Come to the accommodation by private car and most of the respondents will use the service again and again. A study on Travel Motivation Affecting Thai tourists towards choosing hotel and resorts in Chum Saeng District is divided into 4 areas: motivation, facilities, transportation and the hospitality of the staff. The sample group commented that the overall motivation for coming to travel was at a high level. It was found that the sample group gave more importance to the hospitality of the staff than other aspects. Followed by the facilities next is transportation and the least is the motivation, respectively. In the study on the Factors Affecting Thai tourists towards choosing hotel and resorts in Chum Saeng District Per the marketing mix, it is divided into 7 aspects, price, location, promotion, product or service, personnel, process and physical components. The sample group commented that the factors of marketing mix in overall tourism are at a high level. It was found that the sample group gave the most importance to two aspects, the product or services that are more important than other aspects and physical components followed by a high level of importance, in the following order: process, personnel, price, promotion and location. |
