Abstract: The study in the topic of “Evaluation of Students Information Service System for Lecturers, Lanna Polytechnic Chiang Mai Technological College” aims to evaluate the information system and study factors and recommendations affecting using the information system providing student information in the perspective of academic staff of Evaluation of Students Information Service System for Lecturers Lanna Polytechnic Chiang Mai Technological College. The evaluation results are used to be the process in solving problems including the developmental methods for student’s information system. The system comprises 6 data searching which are general information, academic information, financial information, behavioral information and activity-related information. This study utilizes DMSM-Delone and Mclean Model of Information System Success comprising 6 parts which are the quality of information system, service quality, intention to use the system, using the satisfaction system of the users and overall benefits of the system. The number of population is 139 staff – lecturers and advisors. The data collection method is self-administered questionnaires comprising 2 parts, namely, general information and opinions regarding using the system. The data analysis are descriptive analysis presenting in table format. The results found that respondents use the system more than 4 times per week with the time period of 10-19 minutes and the searching time is 10-19 minutes. Respondents can search information by themselves and use it on the regular basis. Personal information; namely, gender, age, educational background, and working experiences does not affect users’ behavior (respondents). Regarding opinions on using the system, it is found that quality of the system, service quality and satisfaction of users and general benefits are in the ‘high’ level. The highest score is personal benefit and the second highest score is quality of information system. This is the major purposes of the development of information system to provide information for students hoping that the information would be beneficial to users.
