Abstract: This independent study was aimed to study the quality management of the student lab school project of Thung Hua Chang Phittayakom School in Thung Hua Chang District, Lamphun Province, in the academic year 2011. The respondents in this study were consisted of 9 basic education committees Thung Hua Chang Phittayakom School, Thung Hua Chang District, Lamphun Province, 2 administrators, 37 teachers and school personnel, and a random sample group of students in secondary education level 1 to level 6 for 18 classrooms by using the method of simple random sampling with quota of 10 students per 1 classroom, totaling 228 persons. The tool used in this study was questionnaire which was divided into 2sets as follows: the questionnaire designed for school administrators, teacher and basic educaton committees, and the questionnaire designed for students. The data gained was then analyzed by percentage and mean. The outputs of the study can be summarized in an overall image that the quality management in 4 aspects, such as planning, implementation, inspection and improvement, was practical in much level. When considering into each aspect, it found that the aspect with the highest mean was planning while the secondary aspect was improvement. The aspect with medium mean was implementation and the aspect with the lowest mean was inspection. Taking into account of the quality management of the student lab school project in 3 aspects, such as skills in using learning tools, thinking and analytic skills, and Thai desirable characteristics, it found that they were in much level but the students had opinion that the quality management of the student lab school project was in medium level. The problems found in the quality management were that the planning was inconsistent since there were high rate of the personnel’s turn over. This had caused problem in determining the duties and responsibilities of the personnel as it was hard to specify the objectives and substantial operation. It is suggested that there should be exchanging knowledge between teachers and teachers, teachers and students, and school and community, to create management quality for the utmost benefit of the students.
