Abstract: This research aims to: 1) develop a psychological training program, and 2) study the effects of the psychological training. It is an experimental research study with a sample of 18 parents of students, divided into an experimental group of 9 and a control group of 9. The study measured game addiction immunity before and after using the psychological training program. The research tools were divided into two parts: 1. The experimental tool, which is the psychological training program, had a consistency index ranging from .89 to 1.00; and 2. The data collection tools, which included: 2.1) the Game Addiction Protection Scale (GAME-P) for parents, based on the measure by Prof. Dr. Chanvit Pornnopadol, 2.2) the questionnaire assessing knowledge about preventing game addiction for parents, with a consistency index from .60 to 1.00, 2.3) a feedback questionnaire for the experimental group regarding their participation in psychological training, and 2.4) a questionnaire for the control group regarding the psychological training manual. The statistical methods used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research results showed that: 1) the psychological training program consisted of 6 activities, with each activity having a consistency index ranging from .89 to 1.00; 2) the effectiveness index (E.I) of the training program was .6575, and the efficiency (E1/E2) was 79.81/81.48; 3) the effect of the psychological training showed that the experimental group parents had an average immunity score at a high level, and their average knowledge about preventing game addiction was at a high level as well; and 4) the experimental group parents expressed very high satisfaction with participating in the psychological training, while the control group parents had a moderate opinion regarding the training manual.
