Abstract: This study aims to explore the factors affecting Chinese tourists traveling to Thailand during the COVID-19 period. By analyzing relevant literature and collecting a large amount of data, the Multiple Indicators and Multiple Causes model was used to analyze the influence of multiple factors such as per capital disposable income, Thailand's service industry employment ratio, Thailand's inflation, and exchange rates, among which Chinese tourists travel to Thailand. The study found that per capital disposable income, Thailand's service industry employment ratio and the exchange rate have a significant role in promoting Chinese tourists' choice to travel to Thailand. The study also found that changes in Thailand's inflation did not affect tourists' travel behavior. This research has important practical significance for the Thai government and tourism operators, helping them to better attract and meet the needs of Chinese tourists and promote the recovery and development of Thailand's tourism industry. Keywords: Chinese tourists; Thailand; economic impact; COVID-19
