Abstract: | The objectives of this research are 1) Identify the components and indicators of innovative teacher characteristics at the elementary level. 2) Study the process of developing these characteristics in elementary school teachers. 3) Create and evaluate guidelines for developing these innovative characteristics in elementary school teachers. A total of 518 elementary school teachers participated by providing their opinions on a 5-point Likert scale with 31 items. The discriminatory power of these items ranged from 0.896 to 0.905, and the reliability value was 0.903. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed using the Amos program. Qualitative data were also collected by interviewing nine experts in developing elementary school curriculum and characteristics of innovative elementary school teachers, selected through purposive sampling. The interviews focused on the process of developing the characteristics of innovative teachers at the elementary and review draft guidelines for developing the characteristics of innovative teachers at the elementary school level from 9 experts who were selected through purposive sampling. A checklist was used to assess the guidelines for developing the characteristics of innovative teachers at the elementary level. three criteria: suitability, feasibility, and usefulness. The research results showed that 1) Components of characteristics of an innovative teacher at the elementary level have 4 components are Knowledge and Ability, Attitude and Character, Behavior, 4) Organization of Learning Environment Management The results of the consistency check of the model of indicator components of elementary school teacher innovators' characteristics were confirmed to have construct validity. The confirmatory factor analysis confirms the structural validity of the model. 2) The process of developing the characteristics of innovative elementary school teachers requires promoting and supporting four main areas: 1) reasons and motivations that drive the development of teacher characteristics in elementary school innovators. 2) the process of developing the characteristics of innovative elementary school teachers. 3) success conditions that influence the development of these characteristics. 4)additional limitations or hindrance for developing the characteristics of innovative elementary school teachers 3. Guidelines for developing the characteristics of innovative elementary school teachers consist of five main points: 1) Principles 2) Objectives 3) Processes 4) Conditions for success and 5) Limitations or hindrance The overall evaluation of the guidelines showed that they are highly appropriate, feasible, and useful. |
