Abstract

The independent study titled "The Efficiency of the Electronic Document Management System at Yang Noeng Subdistrict Municipality, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province" aims to investigate the operational efficiency of the electronic document management system within the Yang Noeng Subdistrict Municipality. The objectives of this research are 1) explaining the level of efficiency in using the system, 2) analyzing factors affecting efficiency, and 3) explaining problems and obstacles along with suggestions for using the said system. Theoretical concepts used in this study are e-government, management information systems, and electronic document management systems at both the national and local levels. Employing a quantitative research approach. The study involved a sample of 80 Yang Noeng Subdistrict Municipality staff members. Data was gathered through questionnaires regarding the efficiency of using the electronic document system and analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation as well as inferential statistics including one-way ANOVA. The results of the study found that 1) Most system users were satisfied at a high level with the system's performance, especially in terms of ease of use 2) Demographic factors Department affiliation Affects the level of efficiency in using the electronic document system. and behavioral factors in accessing the electronic document system. The duration of using the system and the aspect of learning to use Affects the level of efficiency in using the document system. Statistically significant 3) Problems, obstacles, and suggestions encountered from using the electronic document system is to limit the size of files that can be uploaded. and sending original documents along with using the electronic system. Suggestions include that the organization should increase efficiency including continuous development of the system by experts. and additional training for operators according to system changes.
