Abstract: | This study focuses on examining the relationship between job demands, psychological detachment from work, emotional exhaustion, and employee creativity in private sector companies providing consulting, analysis, and management services in the field of information technology and digital. The sample group consists of 220 individuals, and moderated mediation analysis using the PROCESS macro program was conducted. The findings reveal that job demands can predict emotional exhaustion and employee creativity. Emotional exhaustion negatively predicts employee creativity. Moreover, the relationship between job demands and emotional exhaustion is moderated by psychological detachment from work. In summary, when employees face high job demands but can psychologically detach from work, they are more likely to experience emotional exhaustion, leading to increased stress and anxiety. This research highlights the role of emotional exhaustion and psychological detachment from work in the creative process, offering suggestions for practical applications and future research direction. |
