Abstract: | This thesis explores the researcher's contemporary ceramic artwork based on flowers, insects, seeds, and fruits, from which the researcher extracts geometric language as the natural basis for creating his works. Using clay from Jingdezhen, China, traditional handmade ceramic molding methods, and high-purity colors, such as bright red, orange-yellow, deep blue, brilliant purple, and other colors of the original glaze, give the works visual vitality and contrast. In addition, the sputtering process combines the mirror metal texture to form a visual impact and contradictory texture of the works. The whole group of works emphasizes a kind of danger by weakening the softness of nature, the sharp lines and corners in the form, and tries to create a kind of artificial natural beauty through the contrast of highly saturated color and mirror metal texture to present the complex relationship between human-nature-society in the process of industrialization. This way of creation makes the work a contradictory carrier with natural and industrial technological attributes. As a whole, Natural Communication emphasizes the communication between real and artificial nature. In modern society, human activities have caused many impacts on the natural environment and, at the same time, have given rise to the existence of artificial nature. The work emphasizes the communication and interaction between artificial and genuine nature through creative expression. By exploring the relationship between human beings and nature, the work tries to arouse the viewer to think about the interaction and dependence between human beings and nature and to advocate respecting and cherishing communication and interaction with the natural world. At the same time, the works also reflect the communication between the creators and nature. Taking inspiration from natural elements, the creators use unique forms and colors to express the beauty and diversity of nature, trying to talk to nature in the language of art. Through this creative process, the work conveys respect for and exploration of nature, allowing the viewer to experience the close interaction between the creator and nature. The results of this study will provide a way of aesthetics and understanding of the natural world while also emphasizing the importance of interaction between humans and nature for sustainable development and ecological balance. |
