Abstract

The objective of the research was to extract lessons learned from solving complaints in the case of public land disputes of Hang Dong Damrongtham Center, Chiang Mai Province. By studying the factors, conditions and relevant laws that affect the resolution of the problem and lead to the proposal of solutions for solving such complaints. The researcher used a qualitative research method. Data is collected and analyzed from relevant documents, laws, regulations including the case of public land disputes of Hang Dong Damrongtham Center, in the area of San Phak Wan Subdistrict, Ban Waen Subdistrict and Nong Kaew Subdistrict. The findings of the lessons learned from solving complaints in the case of public land disputes of Hang Dong Damrongtham Center, Chiang Mai Province revealed the success factor in resolving complaintts in the public land disputes of the Damrongtham Center in Hang Dong District, that is the officer in Hang Dong District, they have strictly complied with the relevant laws and regulations in accordance with the existing processes or measures within the administrative department. Including supporting factors in solving the problem, namely cooperation between government sectors and people in the integration of working together. The participation of the people through the community meeting mechanism is a very important factor to lead to a successful resolution of public land disputes of Hang Dong Damrongtham Center. The researcher has suggested that legal regulations should be amended by defining procedures, methods and procedures for investigation of facts, principles of community formation and the process of proving facts by reading, translating, interpreting aerial photographs to be clear and support the legal effect. This will make the resolution of public land disputes use more efficient and effective.
