Abstract: This study aimed 1) to design and apply lesson plans through using jigsaw technique and English supplementary books for students of grade 10 2) to study the result of students’ English reading skills development and 3) to study students’ attitude towards cooperative learning with jigsaw technique and English supplementary books. The target group consisted of 39 students of grade 10 in the second semester of 2022 academic year at Chiang Mai Thepbodint School. The instruments used in this study were 1) Five Lesson plans based on Cooperative Learning through Jigsaw technique 2) English supplementary books 3) reading tests and 4) a measure of attitudes towards the activities. The study’s procedures were grouping the students in to two groups which were Home Groups and Expert Groups, Applying Jigsaw Techniques and English Supplementary books, and assessing the students’ English Reading skills and their attitudes towards the learning method. The collected data were analysed through means, percentage, and standard deviation, then compared to the set criterion. The finding of this study found that 1) the Cooperative Learning, Jigsaw technique, and English supplementary books can be designed into lesson plans and can be used since the lesson plans were passed the Index of item objective congruence (IOC) and the E1/E/2 Criterion 2) The students’ Reading Skill was pass at the Good level of 38.05 or 76.10% after studying through Jigsaw Techniique and English Supplementary Books and 3) The students’ attitude towards their English reading skills after learning through the designed lesson plans was pass at the neutral level of 3.05 means and the 0.38 standard deviation.
