Abstract: This research aimed to develop a Mental Health Promotion Program on Social Media Addiction among University Students and to try out a Mental Health Promotion Program on Social Media Addiction among University Students. Using research and development research method which divided into 3 periods of evaluation: pretest, posttest , and follow up period. The simple random sampling was used to select students who were studying for a bachelor's degree, the academic year 2022. The Mental Health Promotion Program was developed by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Based Psychoeducation Group for Social Media Addiction and Mental Health Problems. The total period of the program was 2 days, 10 activities, 60 minutes each. A total of samples (n=7) who received a mental health promotion program. This study was measured before attending program, after attending program, and after attending program 1 month by using a General Information Questionnaire, the Social Media Addiction Test (S-MAT), the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21) and the 6 Items Revised UCLA Loneliness Scale (RULS-6). Mean, Standard Deviation, Repeated Measures MANOVA were used to analyze the data. All analyses used 95 % confidence intervals, and the significance level was p-value < .05. The result shows that 1) Mental Health Promotion Program has the index of item objective congruence of 0.88-1.00 and the overall program consistency index of 0.94. 2) Comparing between before and after attending Mental Health Promotion Program, the stress and the social media addiction were decreased at the level of .05, the depression, the anxiety and the loneliness were not significantly different at the level of .050. 3) Comparing between before and after attending Mental Health Promotion Program 1 month, the anxiety, the stress, the loneliness, and the social media addiction were decreased at the level of .05, the depression were not significantly different at the level of .050. 4) Comparing between after and after attending Mental Health Promotion Program 1 month, the depression, the anxiety, the stress, the loneliness, and the social media addiction were not significantly different at the level of .050.
