Abstract: The purpose of this research were 1) To study the language learning needs of integrating digital technology and improve the Thai communication ability of students from Yunnan Open University, China. 2) Learning Thai language listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills at Yunnan Open University, China. 3) Put forward a language learning method integrating digital technology and improving students' Thai communication ability from Yunnan Open University in China with a new teaching model. The target population is divided into 2 groups: 1) Five teachers teaching Thai at Yunnan Open University in the first semester of the 2021 academic year 2) Students studying Thai in the first semester of the 2021 academic year were 50 students. The research tool is a questionnaire survey, and the data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of this research found: 1. Overall opinions on the promotion of language learning integrated with technology. Digital to develop students' Thai communication skills, and opinions on the condition and problems of using technology in language learning, in terms of the need to learn languages that integrate digital technology in terms of the need for the use of technology in language teaching. In terms of guidelines for using technology in language learning, the assessment was at ahigh level. 2. By teaching the Thai language using digital technology, students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills improve. But there are still problems in integrating digital technology to improve Thai communication skills. 3. Approaches to promoting language learning that integrates digital technology to develop Thai language communication skills of students in Yunnan Open University, the People's Republic of China should consider the model of integrating digital technology with teaching and learning, using TPACK teaching mode, PST teaching mode.
