Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the driving mechanism for spatial development to the "Kok Nong Na" model for sustainable development of the Lampang community development learning center. 2) study the results of the spatial development to the "Kok Nong Na" model of households to affect sustainable development social, economic, and environmental issues. This is qualitative research using a case study which is collected specific data from 10 purposive samples that belong to the Lampang community development learning center and households. The result shows that the driving mechanism for spatial development to the "Kok Nong Na" model for sustainable development of the Lampang community development learning center consists of 5 mechanisms: 1) Coordinating network mechanism there is the coordination of network partners by integrating participatory work through participation in activities 2) Plans and integrated strategies mechanism the agency's strategic plan is not established but a vision is set to achieve common goals. 3) Monitoring and evaluation mechanism are applied to monitor the progress of operations and problems to achieve the specified goals. 4) Knowledge management mechanism by using the connecting knowledge and exchange learning for spatial development. 5) Social communication mechanism creates broader awareness which helps to enhance the existing working coordination with 7 network partners participating in the drive. It become a learning center for the sufficiency economy for sustainable community development. That lead to expand learning areas to increase knowledge,understanding, and can apply with the King's Bhumibol science according to the sufficiency economy philosophy to solving social, economic, and environmental issues through the spatial development to the "Kok Nong Na" model to develop a stable quality of life build a foundation for self-reliance and build the immune to social change towards sustainable development. Recommendations from this research should create a memorandum of understanding in the level associate center of network and strategic planning. Furthermore, team building of knowledge facilitator as well as to create sufficient for themself and extend the effect to people in society to improve in a better way.
