Abstract: The purposes of this research are to compare classical and analytical geometry concepts, develop the mastery learning self-study package on geometry for upper secondary students by comparing classical and analytical geometry concepts and compare the students learning achievement before and after using the self-study package. A sample group for this research is 30 students in the mathematics club in upper secondary level from Namuen Pittayakom school in the second semester of academic year 2021 and the first semester of academic year 2022, selected by purposive sampling. The tools for this research consist of 4 self-study packages, the pre-test and post-test examinations. We found that the difference between classical and analytical geometry is the geometry structure. The concept of classical geometry includes of point, line, plane, betweenness of points and congruence, wherever analytical geometry includes concept of coordinate, distance function and angular measuring function additionally. With this difference, we develop the self-study package to decrease the gap between concepts. We did the experiments with the sample group and found that the self-study package has an efficient value at 80.24/79.66. Moreover, an achievement after learning is higher than before learning at .05 level of significance.
