Abstract: This research studies the problem of finite-time synchronization between two differ- ent chaotie systems with uncertain parameters and external disturbances. The Adaptive Fast Terminal Sliding Mode controller and the Adaptive Super-Twisting Sliding Mode controller are improved to synchronize two different chaotic systems. The finite-time sta- bility of the synchronization between the master and the slave systems are guaranteed by Lyapunov theory. Numerical examples are shown the effectiveness of the synchronization errors.
