Abstract

Due to the crisis incident and emergency situation, the organizations must confront with the unavoidable disruption especially for the pandemic of the Coronavirus disease 2019 that currently threaten people around the globe. It affects people in many perspectives particularly for the works and the role of organization that provide services for people. Therefore, the efficient organization management is essential so that the organization could encounter with the changes and be able to effectively provide services for their people. This study aims to 1) study the effects of organization during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic 2) examine the procedure of organization management during the crisis time and 3) to understand the performance evaluation of organization during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic. This is a qualitative research that 30 samples are staff and stakeholders of Chiang Mai Airport Customs House. The in-depth interview and focus group discussion were used to collect data. Also, the semi-structure interview is employed as a research tool. After that, data collected from the interview as well as the related document was analyzed and evaluated. The results show that Chiang Mai Airport Customs House was affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic in many ways such as revenue aspect and job operation of staff. However, the organization has focused on facilitating the entrepreneurs rather than collecting revenue due to the customs formalities of import and export which thereafter provided as good services. Moreover, Chiang Mai Airport Customs House also has business continuity plan for the crisis time that staff could work from home and strictly followed the public health measures. The job operation of staff could be regularly evaluated week by week so that they could work with efficiency and effectiveness.
