สิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลของพยาบาล โรงพยาบาลฝาง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

Abstract

สิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาล เป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งที่ส่งเสริมให้การปฏิบัติงานของพยาบาลมีคุณภาพ การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงเปรียบเทียบ (Comparative Design Research) มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาสิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลของพยาบาล และเปรียบเทียบสิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลของพยาบาลงานผู้ป่วยนอกและงานผู้ป่วยใน โรงพยาบาลฝาง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ประชากร คือพยาบาล ที่มีประสบการณ์การทำงาน 1 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 135 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือแบบสอบถามสิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติของดัชนีงานพยาบาลฉบับภาษาไทยของ Nantsupawat (2011) ซึ่งแปลมาจากแบบวัดสิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติงาน (The Practice Environment Scale) ของ Lake (2002) โดยมีความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.94 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และการทดสอบค่าที (T-test) ผลการศึกษา พบว่า คะแนนสิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลจัดอยู่ในหมวดพึงพอใจ สิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลงานผู้ป่วยนอกและพยาบาลงานผู้ป่วยในมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (t=-2.24, p<.05) โดยคะแนนสิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลของพยาบาลงานผู้ป่วยนอก มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำกว่าพยาบาลงานผู้ป่วยใน ผู้บริหารทางการพยาบาลสามารถนำเอาผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้ไปใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการปรับปรุงสิ่งแวดล้อมการปฏิบัติการพยาบาลในทุกหน่วยงานของโรงพยาบาลให้ดียิ่งขึ้นไป

Nursing practice environment is one factor which promotes the quality of a nurse's work. This independent study was a comparative design which aimed to describe the nursing practice environment of nurses and compare the nursing practice environment of nurses working in the outpatient and inpatient departments at Fang Hospital, Chiang Mai Province. The participants included 135 nurses with at least 1 year working experience. The instrument used in this study was the Practice Environment Scale of Nurse Work Index (PES-NWI), Thai version, translated by Nantsupawat (2011) from Practice Environment Scale (Lake, 2002). The reliability was 0.94. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and T-test. The findings of study indicated that the score of the nursing practice environment, as perceived by nurses was favorable. The perceived nursing practice environments of nurses in outpatient and inpatient departments showed a statistically significant difference (t = -2.24, p < .05), which the score of nursing practice environment of nurses working in the outpatient department higher than that of the inpatient department. Nurse administrators can use the finding of this as basic information to further improve the nursing practice environment in all hospital departments.
