dc.description.abstract	This research present to Japanese Cucumber Grading Using Active Contour Model and Rule-based Approach. There are two main process along those are image processing to extract information from images and the process of cucumber grading. In the first process, image processing techniques are used to extract various observation from cucumbers such as color, size, and shape then I took all data to the second process for grade the cucumbers. In this research, I used 100 cucumbers for images data that is 1 cucumber per 4 images from a total of 400 images. The experimental result of this research showed that the accuracy was up to 90%.	en_US

thesis.description.thaiAbstract	งานวิจัยนี้เสนอการจัดเกรดของผลแตงกวาญี่ปุ่นโดยใช้ตัวแบบแอ็คทีฟคอนทัวร์และวิธีตามกฎ การทางานของระบบ จะใช้ตัวแบบแอ็คทีฟคอนทัวร์ในการแยกส่วนภาพแตงกวาออกจากภาพพื้นหลัง ใช้เทคนิคการประมวลภาพในการสกัดคุณสมบัติสี รอยตำหนิ ขนาดเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง ความโค้ง และลักษณะคอขวดของผลแตงกวา ใช้วิธีตามกฏในกระบวนการจัดเกรดของผลแตงกวา ในการทำวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้ใช้ข้อมูลภาพแตงกวาทั้งหมด 100 ผล แบ่งเป็นเกรดเอ 50 ผล เกรดบี 50 ผล ถ่ายภาพผลละ 4 ภาพ รวมทั้งหมด 400 ภาพ ผลการทดลองของงานวิจัยพบว่ามีความแม่นยำสูงถึงร้อยละ 90	en_US
